Nicole’s journey with yoga began 10 years ago when she first signed up for a beginner Iyengar yoga class. In the years since she has come & gone from her practice, trying different styles and classes along the way.
In 2013 her youngest son was diagnosed with a rare & life-threatening illness and amidst the chaos & uncertainty that life sometimes brings, she found her way to her yoga mat and developed a daily yoga practice at home in order to cope. It was there on her mat that she found comfort and strength.
She came to understand more fully what yoga could do to assist a person mentally, physically and spiritually. At that moment she knew she wanted to share the gift of well-being that yoga can offer with others.
In the summer of 2015 she completed her 200 hour, Hatha based yoga teacher training (RYS) certification in Victoria. She has additional training and certification in yin yoga ,chair yoga and trauma informed yoga. She is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT).
